Changing Lanes CDL School was founded in 2020 after the owner Delbert Crawford saw the need for truck drivers to provide goods to consumers, and help the community obtain not just jobs but careers. 

Changing Lanes is Changing Lives One CDL at a time in our Community.

Since we opened in 2020 below are the results:

Graduated over 1200 Class A CDL Drivers

Open 7 days a week and offer 3 classes: (weekday, weeknight, and weekend)

NO DPS - 3rd party testing at Changing Lanes for permit and CDL.

A full fleet of trucks consisting of Automatic & Manuals

Offers ELDT and all endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, Triple, & Doubles) at no additional charge

Bilingual program with bilingual instructors for every class

Graduation Ceremony for students who successful completes the program.

Admission Requirements


Applicants must have:     Photocopies will not be accepted

  • Valid driver's license
  • Birth certificate
  • Social security card.
  • High School Diploma or GED (if you do not have these, we will give you a standardize test in place of it)


First step is to apply online & make a down payment to reserve your spot. 


  • Weekday & Weeknight class starts the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Monday of each month.
  • Weekend class starts the 1st Saturday of each month.


After registration- Applicant will be sent to our approved clinic for DOT and Drug test.

  • Where are you located?

    Changing Lanes CDL School is located in the city of Pflugerville, TX, at 100 W Pflugerville Pkwy STE111, Pflugerville, TX 78660

  • When do classes start?

    Weekday & Weeknight classes start the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Monday of each month.


    Weekend classes start the 1st Saturday of every month. 

  • What are your new student requirements

    – Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and a social security number, and birth certificate. 


    If applicable: a green card and/or passport. 


    – Be able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test by our approved clinic.


    - Must have High School Diploma or GED. If you do not have those; we will give you a standardize test in place of it. 


    - Must attend a Mandatory Orientation the first day of class. 



  • How do I enroll in your school?

    Your first step to attending our CDL training program is to pay your $2000 down payment to reserve your spot.  Upon payment you will be directed to a link that allows you to register and select your start date. 

  • What's your job assistance policy?

    Changing Lanes CDL School School LLC provides job placement assistance services to every student who wants it while enrolled in school as well as after graduation.


     No school can guarantee a student a job, but we do guarantee that we will use our best efforts to prepare and assist you.

  • How much do truck drivers make?

    Truck drivers are one of America’s highest-paying professions. The average salary in the first year of truck driving is $60,000 per year. We have connections with over 20 different companies, ranging from cement trucks and construction to out-of-state deliveries.
